Argonne tracks the monthly sales and annual registrations of PEVs by make and model for the U.S. PEVs include both plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Based on the data collected, Argonne also analyzes regional and national trends in PEV adoption, market share, PEV technology evolution, PEV battery and vehicle manufacturing locations, and petroleum/GHG reduction.
